General Chair

Dr. Vinod Vidwans

Short Bio-data

Dr. Vinod Vidwans is currently a Professor at the FLAME University, Pune. He was the Chair of FLAME School of Fine and Performing Arts previously. Before joining FLAME University, he was a Senior Designer (Professor) and an Ex-Vice Chairman (Research) at National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. He also headed the Departments of New Media and Software User Interface Design at NID. He has been a visiting faculty & resource person at many prestigious institutes including IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Kanpur, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and Central University of Hyderabad.

Currently he is engaged in research on AI and Indian Music. He has designed and developed a Creative Intelligent Expert System for Indian Music. The software generates a Bandish (a musical composition) on its own without any human assistance in a given Raga and renders it in traditional classical Indian style. The creative software system uses principles of artificial intelligence (AI).

He carries more than twenty years of professional and research experience. While working in the industry, he designed and developed a multimedia CD ROM on computer literacy program titled `COMPLIT’. Presently this program is acquired by Govt. of Maharashtra (Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd.) and renamed as MS-CIT and has now more than five million users.

Dr. Vidwans is a cognitive philosopher, a designer and a portrait painter. He has done his Ph. D in Cognitive Philosophy and Master of Design from Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, Mumbai. His doctoral work postulates a paradigm called `Design Intelligence’ and characterizes creativity from a holistic perspective. He holds a Post-Graduate Degree in Fine Arts from Nagpur University where he topped. He is a recipient of Junior Research Fellowship in Fine Arts from University Grants Commission (UGC), India.

Jesús García-Madariaga is a Full Professor in Marketing at the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences of Complutense University in Madrid (Spain). He is chair of the Markco2 research group, former Editor in Chief of International Journal of Internet Marketing and Advertising (Inderscience) and visiting scholar at different international universities in extended stays (California Polytechnic State University) and temporary. His research interests encompass Digital Marketing, Neuromarketing, Customer Value Management, Tourism, and CSR. His research has been published in refereed international journals, including Journal of Consumer Behavior, Decision Support Systems, Technological and Economic Development of Economy, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Journal of Retailing and Consumer services, Physiology & Behavior and Journal of Business Ethics among others.

Prof. Srikanta Patnaik    is Director of I.I.M.T., Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph. D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999. He has supervised more than 30 Ph. D. Theses and 100 Master theses in the area of Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published around 100 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and 55 edited volumes and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publisher like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc.

Dr. Srikanta Patnaik is the Editors-in-Chief of International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and, Editor of Journal of Information and Communication Convegence Engineering and Associate Editor of Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (JIFS), which are all Scopus Index journals.

He is also Editors-in-Chief of Book Series on “Modeling and Optimization in Science and Technology” published from Springer, Germany and Advances in Computer and Electrical Engineering (ACEE) and Advances in Medical Technologies and Clinical Practice (AMTCP), published by IGI Global, USA.

He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He is also Fellow of IETE, Life Member of ISTE, and CSI. Dr. Patnaik has visited more than 20 countries across the globe and visiting professors to some of the universities.

Hakim Bendjenna    is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Tebessa University-Algeria, where he has been since 2004. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Constantine University, Algeria and Toulouse University, France in 2013. His research interests lie in the general field of Information systems and image processing with special focuses on security issues. He has led numerous groundbreaking research projects in these areas. He has taught primarily introductory programming courses and courses in system engineering for over ten years. He also frequently serves as a program committee member for various international conferences and workshops. He is a chair of several conferences. He is the head of LAMIS laboratory at the University of LaarbiTbessi- Tebessa, Algeria.

 Asso. Prof.Sanjun Yao  was in researcher of music education theory, music composition theory and music composition. He is currently the director of the School of Music and Dance of Huaihua University and the Vice President of the Music Theory and Criticism Committee of the Hunan Provincial Music Association. He has published a 370,000-word monograph "Analysis and Composition Practice of Chinese Folk Music Works"; presided over the sub-project of the National Social Science Art Project "Research on the Performance System of Hunan Flower Drum Opera", and presided over the educational reform project of Hunan Provincial Department of Education and Research "Reform and Practice of Cultivation Model of Vernacular Music Talents in Local Colleges and Universities"; published a dozen of research papersin in source journal "Journal of National Academy of Education Administration" and other journals indexed by CSSCI.

Prof. Yeon-Mo Yang is a Professor in the department of Electronic Engineering, Kumoh National Institute of Technology, Gumi, Korea. He received the B. Eng in the field of electrical and electronic engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea in 1990 and Ph.D. degree from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, Korea in 2006, in the field of optical networks. From 2005 to 2006 he was a post doctoral fellow in North Carolina State University (NCSU), Raleigh in networks engineering and a short time visiting scholar at UC Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, in wireless sensor networks. From 2006 to 2008, he was in Daegu-Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) as a senior researcher where he has been a project leader of the developments of wireless sensor networks. His current research interests include wireless sensor networks analysis and implementation both at the physical layer and at the networks layer; dynamic bandwidth allocation schemes in passive optical networks; and realizations of hybrid embedded systems connected to Under Acoustic Sensor Networks, Mechronics and Information Technology

Dr. Kountcheva    has completed her M.Sc. in Computer Science in 1973 from Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria and Ph.D. in 1977;she joined as a Senior Researcher TIE in 1992. Presently, Dr. Kountcheva is working as the Vice president of TK Engineering, Sofia. Her main scientific interests: Image processing, Image compression and digital watermarking, Image tensor representation, CNCs, Programmable controllers. Her total number of publicationsincludes176 (30 Journal papers, 18 Book chapters). She has delivered plenary speeches at international scientific conferences and scientific events: 15. Also Dr. Kountcheva has handled about 45 scientific research projects (PI and Co-PI). Again she has filed 5 Patents(2 USA and 3 EU). Dr. Wu  is an Associate Professor in information systems management at the School of Decision Sciences, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He worked closely with many industrial partners to support and contribute to formulating their business strategies, operations improvement and new product development. Dr Wu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a PhD in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering. He regularly contributes to research papers on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), digital transformation and enterprise information systems. In collaboration with global scholars, e.g. UK and China, his project works and research outcomes have been presented at 15+ international conferences and published in 80+ international journals, of which 70 international journal papers are in SCI/SSCI journals. Subsequently professor Sarangi moved to Singapore as Head of Business Information System of Palm Oil Business of RGE Pte Ltd Singapore. Prof.Chun Liu    is a piano teacher in the School of Music and Dance of Huaihua University, the director of Hunan Piano Association, the Vice President of Huaihua Piano Society, and the young backbone teacher of Huaihua University.She has presided and participated in many provincial social science projects, education department projects, civil committee projects and educational reform projects; published more than 20 papers in music core journals and provincial journals; co-edited the book "Piano Performance Art and Innovation".She has been awarded as an excellent instructor for piano examinations by Hunan Musicians Association for many times, and she also has been awarded as an excellent instructor for piano competitions by Huaihua Piano Society for many times. She has instructed the basic skills competition for music undergraduate students of general colleges and universities in Hunan Province for many times, and has been the judge of various piano competitions in Huaihua City and the judge of the joint art examination in Hunan Province for many times.At present, She has applied for 6 national invention patents, 5 utility model patents, with one authorization, and 3 appearance patents. There are 2 software copyright registration certificates, and She has guided students to apply for two appearance patents.

He has been awarded PhD degree in participation and status change in development process, a study of tribal’s in koraput district, odisha. He was the research fellow of Tribal development Department, Ministry of welfare Govt of India. He is an illustrator in both Academics and Administration. With an exceptionally mentoring career leading to nearly four decades, he has held an administrative position as principal in Sri Jagannath Degree College, kaipadar khurda. Prof Pattanayak was conferred with prestigious award as best NSS programme officer, odisha for his selfless service to the society. Prof Pattanayak conferred with Law degree founded an institution to provide free legal service to the stranded people to establish their view. He has planted Twelve Thousands saplings over 7 acres of lands. He has attended 12 National Integration camps across India, he is being acclaimed by distinguished honour in social service being a counselor of IGNOW Odisha State Open University, he has been with students for continuous Learning.
